Danilo Wimmer is a Vienna-based artist, composer, actor and producer whose work unfolds at the intersection of music, film and narrative atmosphere. His artistic path brings together many years of professional experience in senior home entertainment sales roles with a steadily developed practice in film composition, audio production and cinematic storytelling.

As a composer and music producer, also working under the name Q-Port, Danilo Wimmer creates sonic worlds shaped by ambient, electronic music, deep house, jazz and cinematic soundtracks. His work is defined by a strong sense of mood, rhythm and emotional depth, spanning film scores as well as independent musical releases and audio productions.

As a sound designer, he approaches sound not merely as accompaniment, but as a narrative force. In his work for film, he builds acoustic spaces, tension and nuance that deepen images, support scenes and add another layer to visual storytelling.

In front of the camera and on stage, Danilo Wimmer brings the same sensitivity to performance. As a film and theatre actor, and as a narrator for audiobooks, spoken texts and audiovisual formats, he combines presence, voice and expression into a distinctive artistic language.

As a film producer, he develops projects that unite artistic ambition with audiovisual individuality. After contributing to the production of When the Woodlark Sings, he has continued this work since 2025 under the name Aurealis Vision, a Vienna-based film and music production company.

He is also co-founder and festival director of the Cittador International Film Festival, an annual Vienna festival dedicated to independent cinema since 2022.
